You don’t have to leave your pets out of the holiday festivities. The Gwinnett County Animal Shelter is holding free pet photos with holiday characters Saturday, a press release says.

Among those characters is “everyone’s favorite holiday grouch,” the Grinch, according to Stacie Miller, marketing coordinator for Gwinnett County Animal Welfare and Enforcement.

You don’t need to pay to get a photo, just bring some pet food to donate.

While at the shelter, you can adopt a new pet or get an adoption certificate as a gift for someone on your list. During the month of December, the shelter is choosing five cats and five dogs each week that will be free to adopt. You can see this week's cats here and dogs here.

The photos will be taken from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The shelter is located at 884 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville.
