A Georgia Tech math professor was among 94 researchers honored by President Obama Monday with the the Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers. The award is considered the highest honor the government can give to science and engineering researchers in the early stages of their careers. Maria G. Westdickenberg has been with Georgia Tech since 2006.
