Ex-Georgia Tech employee sentenced
A federal grand jury on Tuesday indicted a former Georgia Tech employee accused of racking up more than $316,000 in personal charges on her state-issued credit card. The indictment charges that Donna Gamble, an administrative coordinator at the Tech's Institute of Bioengineering and Bioscience, used grant money from the National Science Foundation to buy more than 3,800 items on five purchasing cards — from foosball tables to lawn tractors — over a five year period.
