Georgia SPCA has record year for adoptions

The Georgia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has announced that it set a record for adoptions in 2011.

The organization said it completed more than 1,100 adoptions of cats and dogs last year, the most since opening its doors in 2007.
