Georgia Southern made an app for that

Georgia Southern University launch a new mobile application so  people can read campus news, search course catalogs and navigate the Statesboro campus.

The app, which the college made available Thursday, will also allow people to quickly dial campus police and even check out scores and schedules from the different campus sports teams.

Other colleges, including Emory University, have launched similar apps in recent years.
