Fayetteville police are looking for two men for who staged a brazen burglary of a Georgia Power office in Fayette County.

Suveillance video shows two men, both wearing ski masks, first breaking into an adjacent Goodwill store on South Glynn Street early Monday, Fayetteville police Det. Mike Whitlow said in an e-mail.

“The men then tore apart sheetrock and entered the Georgia Power office through a wall,” Whitlow said. “The men spent approximately three hours inside as they broke into the safe and took cash.”

Whitlow said the suspects attempted to disarm the surveillance system, but were unsuccessful.

Georgia Power employees discovered the burglary when they arrived at work on Monday.

He asked that anyone with information on the suspects call investigators at 770-461-4441.
