The Collegian, the newspaper of Georgia Perimeter College, has been named a finalist for the prestigious Newspaper Pacemakers award.

The award, given by the Associated Collegiate Press, honors outstanding coverage and content and quality writing, reporting, photography and design.

The Collegian, edited by Ashley Cummins and Sabastian Wee, is a finalist in the two-year college category.

Winners for the award will be announced at the National College Media Convention at the end of October.
