Georgia College gets interim president

Stas Preczewski, a vice president at Georgia Gwinnett College, will serve as interim president of Georgia College & State University starting July 1.

The college's current president, Dorothy Leland, is leaving to become president of the University of California, Merced on July 1.

Preczewski, vice president for academic and student affairs at GGC, has been with the Lawrenceville college since it opened in 2006.
