State highway maintenance crews will be trimming overgrown vegetation daily through Friday along Ga. 372 in Cherokee County and Ga. 140 in Bartow County, the Georgia Department of Transportation advises.

Crews will be working from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weather permitting. The job, part of what GDOT calls its routine “integrated roadside vegetation management” program, is intended to ensure motorist safety, environmental health and visual quality.

As always, GDOT asks motorists to be especially attentive and cautious as they travel through work zones.
