Paving crews with E.R. Snell Contractor Inc. will begin resurfacing State Route 124 beginning at State Route 20 in Lawrenceville. The 17-mile, $6 million resurfacing project will ultimately encompass Barrow, Gwinnett, and Jackson counties.
Milling, inlay and resurfacing activities will continue nightly 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. Sundays through Fridays. The project is expected to be complete in Fall 2019.
