In ongoing efforts to improve pedestrian accessibility and safety, the Gateway85 Community Improvement District has added another three miles of sidewalks in the district.

The CID represents a public-private partnership funded by commercial property owners in a 14-square mile area surrounding the I-85 corridor in southwest Gwinnett.

According to information from Gateway85, “another goal of the CID is to keep the district as orderly and beautiful as possible to maintain the area’s appeal to business owners and their clients. In 2020, the Gwinnett County Code Enforcement has budgeted to add six additional officers in order to regulate development, construction and maintenance of all property in unincorporated areas.””
