The Gateway85 Gwinnett Community Improvement District recently completed sidewalk construction and new landscaping along Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross. The 5-foot wide sidewalk is on the south side of Jimmy Carter Boulevard between Brook Hollow Parkway and Crescent Drive. This portion of sidewalk completes a 4-mile stretch of continuous sidewalk along Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Sidewalk improvements like these are intended to provide safer access to multiple county bus stops and improve corridor connectivity

The landscaped island project has installed upgraded landscaping along Jimmy Carter Boulevard to replace aged concrete medians. Landscaping improvements help to build a sense of pride in the community and encourage future investment in the district.
