A gas leak in the area of Pleasant Hill Road at Satellite Boulevard in Duluth that forced the evacuation of nearby businesses has been repaired, Gwinnett County authorities said Thursday.

Authorities said a delivery truck hit a gas meter, causing damage to a one-inch service line behind a restaurant in the shopping center. Six businesses were evacuated around the site.

No injuries were reported.

Authorities have reopened  eastbound lanes on Pleasant Hill Road that had been closed as a precaution to prevent any possibility of the gas vapors being ignited. Westbound lanes remained open.
