Gas leak causing road disruptions in Roswell

Fannin Drive, between Rocky Pine Road and Salem Road, will be closed to through-traffic. The 4100 block of Sandy Lake Drive East will also be closed.

A gas leak is causing a road disruptions near the Chattahoochee River in Roswell.

The city police department said Dogwood Road at Riverside Road due to a gas leak at Old Alabama and Riverside roads.

Workers with a gas company are on the scene, police said.

Police gave no information about when the leak would be repaired or how it started.

It appears the leak has been going on since at least about 3:30 p.m., according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

The traffic center suggests using Roberts Drive and Holcomb Bridge Road.
