Garbage pickup to be delayed in Atlanta next week

In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, there will be no garbage collection service in Atlanta on Monday, Jan. 16. Garbage collection will be delayed by one day for all customers. For example, Wednesday customers will receive service on Thursday. Bulk collection and residential street sweeping will also be delayed by one day. Those services resume on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
