Gainesville State College President Martha Nesbitt announced Monday that she will retire June 30, 2012. Nesbitt became the college's leader in 1997 and is only the college's third president. Details about a search for Nesbitt's replacement will be announced at a later date, according to a news release from the University System of Georgia.
