Fun stuff closing road in Lilburn this weekend

Drivers in Lilburn should avoid Main Street from Joy Lane to the Church Street roundabout as well as Poplar Street from Killian Hill Road to Main Street during two events scheduled over the holiday weekend.

The Reject 10k/5k road race will close streets from 7:45 a.m. until approximately 9:45 a.m. Saturday. The same area will be closed 9 to 10:30 p.m. on July 4 to allow pedestrians to walk down Main Street after the city’s Sparkle in Park fireworks display.
