Police in Roswell are searching for a man wanted for fraud.

The man attempted to withdraw $2,500 from a SunTrust bank in Roswell using a fake ID on April 5, police said.

Earlier that day, he was able to withdraw an undisclosed amount of money from a SunTrust bank in Stone Mountain using someone else’s ID from Greensboro, North Carolina, police said.

In surveillance footage obtained, the suspect is wearing a dark collared shirt and a brown jacket. He has short gray hair.

Police said similar transactions have occurred in the metro Atlanta area where different suspects have presented fraudulent driver’s licenses from North Carolina linked to victims from Greensboro.

Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to call Detective Farabaugh with Roswell police at 770-640-4340.
