Viewing a total solar eclipse can be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

So on Monday, Aug. 21, some employees and patients at WellStar North Fulton Hospital will gather in the hospital’s parking lot at 2 p.m. to view the eclipse.

Patients and team members from the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit will watch the solar eclipse in the emergency room parking lot of the hospital.

“Getting up and moving is an important part of recovery for patients at WellStar North Fulton’s Inpatient Rehab Unit,” a statement from the hospital reads. “Our team members have a day full of eclipse-related activities prepared, as we continue to provide opportunities for patients to engage and create a sense of community during their stay at the hospital.”

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit treats patients who have suffered stroke, trauma, amputations, neurological disorders, brain injuries and more.
