Fulton County is throwing a Thanksgiving community event to feed its residents — one week before the holiday.

The District Attorney’s Office event will provide free meals, groceries and toiletries to attendees on a first-come first-served basis. The menu includes turkey breast, gravy, dressing, sweet potato casserole, a cookie and lemonade.

Coordinators expect to serve at least 200 people.

The event will be held at the Zone 4 Community Prosecution Office, 2472 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, on Nov. 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. For more information, call 404-449-6737.
