Fulton County is holding a diabetes seminar to attack the leading cause of kidney failure and a top cause of leg amputations and blindness. The aim is identify where residents can help each other identify, treat and prevent the disease, such as lobbying employers for healthier snacks in vending machines, advising on diet and clinic referrals. The session is from 10 a.m.to noon on March 22 at the Center for Health and Rehabilitation, 265 Boulevard NE, Atlanta 30312.
