Free program on researching African American ancestry

The Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau will sponsor a free program on researching African American ancestry from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Hill Event Hall, 550 Pleasant Hill Road, Suite B-106, Lilburn.

Johnette Brooks will speak on "How to honor your African American ancestors by tracing, documenting, publishing and donating your family history." A complimentary lunch will be served. For more information, visit www.gcvb.org or call 770-814-6056.
