“More families bring a new pet home for the holiday season than at any other time of the year,” said Alan Davis, manager of the Animal Welfare and Enforcement Division. “Home for the Holidays is an awareness campaign that promotes the adoption of animals.”

Gwinnett County Animal Welfare is offering adoption gift certificates this holiday season.

“Gift certificates are the perfect way to allow the recipient to be actively involved in choosing the perfect pet,” Davis said.

All pets adopted at Gwinnett Animal Welfare, 844 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville, have been vaccinated, neutered and microchipped and are ready to go to their new home.
