Clayton County residents will have an opportunity to clean out the old paint, batteries, cleaners or other household hazardous waste at the Clayton County Water Authority’s annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at the W.B. Casey Water Resource Recovery Facility, 8890 Roberts Road (off of Flint River Road) in Jonesboro.

Show proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or a water bill and contractor CARE Environmental will unload the items directly from the vehicles and then separate and dispose of them properly, according to a press release.
