Anyone who wants to be tested for COVID-19 can take advantage of a free pop-up testing site Friday, May 22, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at J.P. Moseley Park, 1041 Millers Mill Road in Stockbridge. The District 4 Department of Public Health is facilitating the event in response to a recent request from the Henry County Board of Commissioners for additional testing in the county. Individuals do not have to have symptoms nor have had to been in contact with a person who previously tested positive for the virus. There is no appointment necessary; pre-registration is available but not required. Additionally, Henry County Transit will be providing free transportation to and from the testing site for those who need it. To schedule a trip for testing, phone 770-288-7444.
