There’s nothing like a good stretch at the end of long week — and DeKalb County residents can do just that at a free yoga event hosted by the county.

In honor of Self-Care Awareness Month, Bliss Yoga is hosting a free, two-hour yoga class 10 a.m. Saturday on the front lawn of the Exchange Recreation Center on Columbia Drive in Decatur.

The event, sponsored by DeKalb Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs is open to all ages, and is “designed to provide a full-body workout that can build strength, increase flexibility, improve balance and reduce stress,” according to a news release. Participants will also be treated to a live DJ.

The first 20 registrants will also receive a free yoga mat. But if you’re not one of the lucky ones, you’ll have to bring your own.

Participants can register here and are urged to bring a bottle of water.
