Four people were rescued from the Chattahoochee River late Sunday in Johns Creek.

The group called for assistance after getting stuck on some rocks, Doug Nurse, spokesman for Johns Creek, told the AJC.

"At this point, they're not in any danger," Nurse said during the rescue.

Johns Creek firefighters were able to rescue the group, according Capt. Tommy Rutledge with the Gwinnett County fire department. Gwinnett County and Roswell firefighters were called in to assist.
