Forsyth County residents will have an opportunity to view the draft plan and offer feedback for Foster Forsyth, the county’s Comprehensive Plan update, at open houses set for later this summer.

The open houses are scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m., Aug. 29 and 31, at the County Administration Building at 110 E. Main St., Cumming.

Implementation workshops were held in June. A joint meeting of the Vision and Steering committees is planned for 6 p.m., July 14, at the Administration Building as the draft plan is developed.

The plan will address issues of economic development, housing transportation and land use.
