A routine Forsyth County traffic stop earlier this month turned into a much bigger bust after deputies and K-9s searched the suspect’s vehicle and other locations.

Deputies stopped Brandon Joseph Huff, 22, of Alpharetta and arrested him on charges of driving with a suspended license and concealing/misrepresenting the identity of his vehicle. Sheriff’s officials said deputies got suspicious and found what they said was evidence of illegal drug sales.

Law officers ultimately seized $15,000 in cash and five handguns, as well as quantities of cocaine, MDMA, marijuana and prescription pills. Huff faces a litany of charges, including possession of cocaine and other drugs with intent to distribute.
