Forsyth releases annual water quality report
Forsyth County residents can learn where their water comes from (Lake Lanier, mostly), what it contains (naturally occurring minerals and trace runoff) and how it compares to standards of the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act (it’s in compliance) in the county’s 2019 Water Quality Report.
"Forsyth County's water met all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state drinking water health standards in 2018," according to a county announcement. A website link to the report will be listed on mailed water and sewer bills: www.forsythco.com/2019ccr.pdf
Printed copies of the document can be picked up at the Water & Sewer Department office in Suite 150, Forsyth County Administration Building, 110 E. Main St., Cumming; or they can be mailed on request by calling 770-781-2160.
