The Forsyth County School District announced the final principal appointment for the 2019-20 school year: Jordan Livermore, for Cumming Elementary School.

Livermore joined the district in 2004 and worked in a number of positions, from teacher to coach, at Vickery Creek and Silver City elementary schools, according to a district announcement. He has also been an assistant principal at Chestatee and Cumming elementary schools.

Livermore is a graduate of the University of North Georgia and has certifications in early childhood, middle grades social science and language arts, and special education.

He will succeed Lee Anne Rice, who is moving from principal at Cumming Elementary to be the Forsyth schools’ assessment and accountability director. Rice will fill the position currently held by Beth Kieffer, who is retiring, the district said.
