A recent sting operation resulted in Forsyth County Sheriff’s deputies citing employees at eight businesses on charges they sold alcohol to minors.

Sheriff’s officials say under-21 employees of the office went to 30 businesses equipped with drivers licenses and looking to buy alcohol. The employees may face steep fines in magistrate court and the business owners face potential license revocation.
