Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Grady Sanford has been elected to the Executive Board of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Associates.

Sanford will represent Section III on the board, which is described as a non-profit international organization of nearly 17,000 senior law enforcement professionals who are dedicated to providing expertise and training to local and state governments and the profession at large. He’ll represent chapters in 11 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the Caribbean and Latin America.

Sanford has been Forsyth County chief deputy since January. Previously, he served as commander of Troop A of the Georgia State Patrol.
