The Forsyth County Animal Control Shelter on Saturday, Nov. 3, will participate in a “November to Remember” pet adoption event hosted by the All Pets Emergency & Referral Center.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at All Pets, 6460 Highway 9 North. Shelter animals will be available for adoption. A veterinarian will be on site to answer questions.

Those who take home a pet from the event will receive a starter pack with food, leash, collar and surprises, Forsyth officials said. Pet-related consignment items will be offered for sale, with proceeds donated to pet rescue organizations.

The shelter's standard pet adoption fee of $85 will apply. For information about the shelter and to view currently adoptable animals: https://bit.ly/2vdEBd9
