Forsyth County sets transportation summit

The 2019 Forsyth County Transportation Summit will offer project updates from local and state officials Wednesday, April 10, at the Forsyth Conference Center at Lanier Technical College.
The Cumming-Forsyth Chamber of Commerce will host the event, set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Participants will include Commissioner Russell McMurry of the Georgia Department; state Rep. Kevin Tanner (R-Dawnsonville), House Transportation Committee chairman; and Chris Tomlinson, executive director of the State Roadway and Toll Authority.
To register for the event: www.cummingforsythchamber.org. All attendees must register except for Rotary Club of South Forsyth members, according to the Chamber's Facebook page. Tickets that include lunch are $15; limited seating is available for those who forego lunch.
