Forsyth County is kicking off the process of updating its long-range comprehensive transportation plan, which aims to look at the needs of those living throughout the county.
A series of open houses has been set to gather community input from residents, businesspeople, service organization representatives and others. The sessions will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. and are planned for April 12 at the Forsyth Conference Center, 3410 Ronald Reagan Boulevard, April 17 at the West Forsyth High School Cafeteria, 4155 Drew Road, April 19 at the Central Park Recreation Center, 2300 Keith Bridge Road and April 24 at the Lambert High School cafeteria, 805 Nichols Road.
The sessions will be drop-in, not formal and the same information will be displayed at each. Forsyth County staffers will be working toward adopting a five-year update to the plan in December.
