Two northside governmental identities are getting kudos for their budget presentation efforts.
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada awarded Forsyth County its Distinguished Budget Preparation Award for the county’s 2015 budget book. The award is considered the highest form of recognition in government reporting. This is the county’s third consecutive win.
The group also gave a Certificate of Achievement of Excellence in Financial reporting to the city of Canton for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
