The Forsyth County Board of Education will get an update Thursday on what a district spokeswoman calls the biggest batch of school construction projects to ever come on-line simultaneously.
The board will hear updates on DeSana Middle School and Brandywine Elementary, both set for an August opening. The district construction manager will also update work on projects at four of the district’s eight high schools that are set to finish by the start of the new school year, ranging from classroom additions to new gym and cafeteria facilities. Two middle schools are also getting large classroom additions set to finish in August.
The board work session is 4 p.m. Thursday at district headquarters, 1120 Dahlonega Highway in Cumming.
