Former Fulton County Judge Thelma Wyatt Cummings Moore, who served on the bench more than three decades, was inducted into the National Bar Association's Hall of Fame at the group's recent annual meeting.

The National Bar, the nation's oldest and largest group of predominantly African-American lawyers and judges, recognized Moore for her service as chief judge of Fulton's Superior Court and for being an architect of the county's Family Division and Family Law Information Center. Moore is now a private Atlanta attorney.
