Among the finalists for the city manager job in Clarkston is Keith Barker, former chief operating officer for DeKalb County. Barker was fired in September, after he admitted to having a sexual relationship with a water department secretary. The county paid Barker a $100,000 severance.

The other two finalists for the Clarkston position are: David Clabo, former city manager in Dallas, Ga., and Frederick Gardiner, director of planning and development in Griffin.
