Former Cobb commissioner to discuss nature center

Thea Powell, a former Cobb County Commissioner and current member of the county's development authority, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming East Cobb Civic Association meeting on Wednesday.

Powell will discuss the Chattahoochee Nature Center.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the East Cobb Government Center, 4400 Lower Roswell Road in Marietta.
