Forest Park man shot, in critical condition

A Forest Park man was shot early Sunday in an apparent robbery, Clayton County police said.

Sabas Caballero of Forest Park is in stable but critical condition at Atlanta Medical Center, police said.

Caballero was found on the ground at a Johnson Road residence about 1:10 a.m., police said. He had been shot once in the back.

Witnesses told police that men were seen running from the location where Caballero was found.

Police are investigating the incident.
