The city of Forest Park is hosting an open house for its neighborhood master plan at a meeting 7-9 p.m. April 26 at Main Street Community Center, 696 Main Street, Forest Park.

Residents are invited to give input to help re-envision Starr Park and the surrounding community. Star Park is generally defined as the area with a northern boundary of Forest Parkway, southern boundary of South

Avenue, eastern boundary of East Street and western boundary of West street. The plan includes a parks and recreation plan for other current parks and recreation sites and future development and redevelopment of teh city’s parks recreation programming, passive parks, open space, pools, ballfields and facilities.
