The Forest Park City Council will discuss an ordinance during its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Forest Park City Hall, 745 Forest Parkway.
The ordinance is to purchase real estate with money from the General Fund and to reimburse the General Fund from the Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sale Tax funds.
The council will also discuss the events planned in the city’s Main Street Town Center, called “Meet Me at the Fountain.”
The project, if approved, will be free of charge and feature visual and performing artists in a series of events in the Town Center. The first event would be a bridal showcase on July 24.
