Ford donates $25,000 to local shelter

Ford Motor Co. announced it will donate $25,000 to the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children, part of a continuing relationship with the nonprofit.

The donation will be used to support the shelter’s Job Readiness Program. With this donation, Ford’s contributions to the shelter totals $100,000 over the last three years.

Additionally, Ford volunteers will help at the shelter on Friday , preparing and serving lunch, working with guests on projects and organizing the food pantry.
