Food donations needed in Smyrna

Tillman House Resource Center, 940 Concord Road, Smyrna is the drop-off point for food items and donations for children and families in need in the Smyrna area March 18-20.

Temporary hours for food donations this week at Tillman House are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 18-20.

Monetary contributions may be made payable to MUST Ministries with “Food Drive” in the memo line at MUSTministries.org.

In addition to donations, Smyrna Mayor Derek Norton said there is “an extreme need” for volunteers.

They are needed to pack 1,500 boxes to last two weeks while children are out of school and many parents are out of work.
