Flood maps to be subject of Forsyth open house

Residents can view Forsyth County’s newly updated flood risk maps at an open house from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Commissioners Meeting Room in the Forsyth County Administration Building, 110 E. Main in Cumming. The open house will provide citizens an opportunity to learn how the updated maps can possibly affect building and flood insurance requirements.

The maps are also available for viewing in the county Department of Engineering, Suite 120 in the Forsyth County Administration Building.
