Smash-and-grab burglars struck a southwest Atlanta sandwich shop early Wednesday, stealing a flat screen television and helping themselves to some food.

The break-in happened shortly after 4 a.m. at Philadelphia Famous Cheese Steak on Pryor Road across the street from the Lakewood Amphitheater, according to Atlanta police dispatchers.

After breaking through a glass door, the thieves also took "some meat" from the restaurant, dispatchers said. A second television was left hanging sideways on the wall.
