Flashback Photos: The ruins of Funtown Amusement Center

Photos from the amusement park known as Funtown on Stewart Avenue (now Metropolitan Parkway). The park closed in 1967 but its ruins were visible well into the 1990s.

Funtown was an amusement park on Stewart (Metropolitan) Avenue that operated in the 1960s. The park closed in 1967 while the miniature golf and bowling alley continued for years afterwards.
