Five Cumming residents ranging in age from 18 to 20 were arrested earlier this week in a drug bust that Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton said was a "major hit" on alleged drug distrubutors in the county.
Paxton said undercover narcotics investigators on Monday executed a search warrant at a townhouse on Ivy Summit Court off Ronald Reagan Boulevard in south Forsyth, and found "distribution level amounts" of LSD, ecstasy, hash and marijuana, as well as "large quantities of several substances that have still not been identified."
"We would consider this a mid-level drug distribution operation, targeted at selling to young people in their late teens and 20s," Paxton said, adding that investigators "were surprised to find such a variety of different types of drugs in one place."
Arrested were Noah Paul Spicer, 20, and Alex M. Robichaux, 19, who were renting the townhouse, and Evan Michael Snider, 20, Kara Lane Buffington, 18 and Joshua Taylor Bell, 19, who also lived at the residence. All five were charged with one count each of possession of LSD with intent to disribute, possession of ecstasy with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of hash with intent to distribute, and are being held without bond.
A sixth person, Nicholas Daniel Traynor, 19, of Cumming, arrived at the residence while investigators were executing the warrant, and was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He has been released from jail on $1,155 bond.
